What is your circulation?
Current circulation is 25,000. This will increase to 40,000 when mass
market newsstand distribution is launched this fall.
How many subscribers do you have?
As of this writing, 8,900. We are adding between 40-75 per day.
What is your method of distribution?
First class post to subscribers, and direct distribution into niche retailers that are
supportive of the Law of Attraction principles (New Age bookstores, etc).
Why the requirement to purchase for the year?
We have determined rates that are deeply discounted for those who choose to join us at the launch year. Our goal is to obviously increase our advertiser page count. In order to do that, we want to get as close as we can to selling out the initial page count for the year and then add pages based upon
demand as the year progresses. Open rate advertisers will not receive the benefit of the discount like the launch-year advertisers do.
The second (and for us, the most primary) reason is that we don't want to
see an advertiser leave after one issue. In this business it is repetition that builds consumer response. The way we arrived at the discount was to determine the regular rate, and then divide that by the four issues. It's fair
to both sides; the advertiser gets four slots for the price of one, and we
get the opportunity to prove the value of the advertising dollars they spent with us.
Believe it when we say we want our advertisers' campaigns to drive business to them more than they do, because if the advertiser isn't reaping the benefit, then we haven't done our jobs properly on this end. We hope that explains it adequately for you, and of course we'd be happy to discuss it further.
Describe the editorial content, and who will be writing it?
We have an excellent staff of writers, and noted experts in the field including Beth and Lee McCain, as well as a wonderful group of contributors, many of them advertisers in The Indicator. We can't make too many promises, but this one we can: No one will be disappointed by the editorial content.
Who is your target audience?
In descending order: Married Women between 24-56, Single Women between 18-40, Men between 38-56. Median income $49K; audience outreach to lower mid incomes aspiring for positive financial change.
Do you have a publishing background?
Yes, both Beth and Lee, along with their business partners, have extensive media and publishing backgrounds.
